In May 2007, The Five Percent released their third CD in less than two years. Their second release, Our Life (November 2007), has sold nearly 3000 copies. While touring the country in support of the record, the overwhelming response has energized the band to record fourteen new songs.
For this release, Making Some Sense of Today, the band once again teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer Jack Gauthier. The new album features varied ensembles and guest vocals by Pete Francis from Dispatch.

After the May release, the band immediately hit the road to support this new record. During this tour, the band played to new audiences in virtually every corner of the country. Fresh back from this national tour, the band has begun pre-production for their next album and continues to play to audiences throughout the northeast.
