Hector Rosado got his big break in the 1980s with Conjunto Creama, a well-known Conjunto from Manhattan that performed at clubs such as Broadway 96, Casa Blanca, Village Gate, Casino 14, Meadow Lands Arena and others. Rosado eventually returned to his hometown of Bethlehem, where his hard work, efforts and sacrifice paid off, as became one of the best and most in-demand percussionists.
His next big break came when he auditioned with and toured with David Byrne of The Talking Heads, touring Japan, Israel, Australia, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Brazil. He even appeared with Byrne on the Johnny Carson Show and on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Rosado has also performed and toured with Edgar Joel, Jose Alberto (El Canario), Tito Puente and Celia Cruz. He continues to perform with well known artists including Brenda K. Star, Aretha Franklin, David Valentin, Hector Tricoche, Ray Sepulveda, Luis Luigi, Cano Estremera, Andy Montanez, Marlon, Michael Stuart, NG2, Willie Rosario and Tony Vega.
